Established in 1957 Instanta is a family owned private company manufacturing in Southport, Merseyside England. Whilst British manufacturing has declined over the last fifty years, Instanta continues to go from strength to strength through offering a combination of service, quality and value for money.

Our aim is to provide beverage making equipment with designs that combine style with practicality.
We know that the best design in the world is of little use if deliveries are slow and after sales service is poor. Because of this we measure our deliveries against our Quality Management System targets and are pleased to say that our most recent figures show that 98.8% of spares orders received before 3 p.m were despatched on the same day and 99.9% of machine orders in the last six months were delivered on time. Whilst this is a great performance, we will not be happy until we achieve 100% on both.

We offer up to four years' parts and labour guarantee on our products. This is exceptional for this type of equipment and has been achieved through constant monitoring of warranty breakdowns and taking immediate action to rectify faults and prevent a recurrence. Our current warranty costs are below 0.6% of sales and we aim to improve on this all the time.

We aim to use innovation wherever possible and to use the very latest in electronics to provide you with a range that is truly the best. Our innvovation is not just in manufacturing but also extends to the way that we run our factory including a flexible four day working week and a comprehensive employee benefits package.

About Environmental Management and BS EN ISO 14001
All organisations have some impact on the natural environment, particularly through the resources they use, the processes and activities they undertake and the waste they create.

Each business has its own unique range of environmental impacts and will have limitations on how much improvement it can make to its overall performance. However, every business no matter how large or small, can achieve results if improvements are planned and carried out in a structured and co-ordinated manner. This in essence, is what ISO 14001 is all about in its most simplistic terms: a specification for achieving good management practice.

First published in 1996, ISO 14001 is the main International Standard for environmental management, specifying the actual requirements for a management system. The Standard should be applied to all those environmental aspects that a company has control of and over which it can be reasonably expected to have an influence. Fundamental to ISO14001 is the requirement for a commitment to continuous improvement, which must be clearly demonstrated through the setting of objectives and targets, backed up by monitoring and measurement. Finally, the whole process must be audited against, by an external, or third party, independent certification body.
