This Privacy Policy aims to give you information on how ZIP Heaters (UK) Ltd T/A Zip Water UK (Zip Water UK) collects and processes your personal data when you purchase, or make a request for information about, our products or services and through your use of our website, including any data you may provide through our website when you sign up to receive our brochures, newsletters, quotes or purchase a product or service.

In this case, we may have to cancel our contract with you, but we will notify you if this is the case at the time. You will not be charged a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

We will aim to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. This may take longer depending on the complexity of the request, in this case we will inform you and keep to updated.

 

Security of your personal data

Zip Water UK will take appropriate technical and organizational measures in line with applicable data protection laws, including requiring our service providers, business partners or professional advisors to use appropriate measures to protect your personal data.

In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
